…The long and winding road🎵🎶 …

Our stay in Indiana is coming to an end.  We’ve journeyed North to Indianapolis, West to Bloomington, East to Seymour and South to Medora.

In Indianapolis, we visited the Speedway.  There were no races but they did have a large Mustang Meet going on.

South of Bloomington, we happened upon the “Tibetan Mongolian Buddist Cultural Center”.  It is dedicated to the people of Tibet and is located on 90 acres. It offers a relaxing and peaceful setting for meditation and reflection. The Tibetan Chortens here (2) are the only ones in the nation.  It was eerily quiet and mystical driving on their grounds.

We also saw “Indiana State University” which is in Bloomington.  Bloomington is basically a college town with so many dorms and halls.  The complex is huge!

We drove to Medora and came across the “Medora Covered Bridge”.

We discovered “Lake Monroe” which is the largest in Indiana.

The area of Indiana we are in is pretty much either corn/soy fields or in the Hoosier Forest which has the MOST winding, curvy, narrow roads of anywhere we’ve been so far.  When Bill drives with 2 hands, you know the road is challenging!!

Ended our visit to Nashville, Indiana with a home made icecream at “Miller’s”.
