We drove to Nashville, TN today! Along the way we passed the Lexington Airport wall with murals painted that look so real!

We passed “Castle Post” in Versailles.

We passed a sign on the Bluegrass Parkway that indicated New Haven and Boston which made me do a double take and wonder if we were headed to New England.
We drove by the “National Corvette Museum” in Bowling Green.

The closer we got to Nashville, the prettier the landscape became replacing KY rolling hills with TN mountains.
I will say though the MANY trucks we encountered did make me a bit nervous.
After grabbing a bite for supper … early … since we didn’t realize the one hour time change … we ventured for a quick drive through Nashville for a look-see.
So … “Nashvegas”
Bright lights, a thriving music scene and interesting characters populate Broadway and downtown, so the comparison to Las Vegas is apropos. Locals and visitors seem to flock to Broadway to soak up the sights and sounds of one of the most musically talented streets in the world. Sure, there’s no gambling in Nashville, but they find just as much fun enjoying countless live performances from local musicians!
Can’t wait to experience it!!
Yes, The Bluebird is a real place. Since the popularity of the show “Nashville,” however, it’s super hard to get in.
I can’t wait to read about your time in TN!!! (If we were at hime, we’d drive to the “big city” and hang out one day. But, I kniw y’all will have a blast! So much talent all over the place! Enjoy!!!!

Is the Bluebird Cafe, as shown in the TV show “Nashville”, an actual bar in Nashville? Maybe it’s not called a cafe, I don’t know.
